 In the world of real estate advertising and real estate advertising design few agents or their marketing managers consider radio and television as a viable media to attract new clients and customers to purchase or to sell a home. Most agents rely on the tried and true methods of marketing real estate fliers as the bulk of their marketing plan real estate agents are sometimes reluctant to employ new media methods to get the results they desire. While it is true that these methods can be expense and unaffordable for many agents there are certain markets and agents that do employ radio and television marketing in real estate marketing for investors and individuals.
It may not be as cost effective as the real estate marketing methods employed by many agents like their monthly brochures for real estate marketing but it can be very appropriate in marketing the listings of agents with high end listings and luxury real estate or agents looking to market multiple or developer listings where there is a significant inventory of properties available. 
While real estate online marketing is the preferred technique of most real estate agent marketing there are many unique real estate marketing ideas that can be employed using radio and TV media. Many local AM talk radio stations have a loyal listeners and following and will take sponsored shows during the off hour periods for local radio shows hosted by agents. The sponsor agent can take calls from listeners and answer questions and can often build a client base and loyal following based on their being perceived as an expert. TV also offers many of the same opportunities with local cable shows.
Using new media real estate marketing materials many real estate sales consulting marketing firms will employ these methods and especially with larger budget campaigns. 
Radio and Television marketing is very important to larger firms but for most real estate marketing plans it is not practical to employ. Most agents stick with ppc advertising and website advertising coupled with search engine advertising. The methods of online advertising that are frequently used are some of the most effective and least expensive and are more practical for many agents than the television and radio campaigns employed by many national franchised real estate firms like Century 21, Remax and Coldwell Banker. These large firms have a huge advantage over boutique operations in the media buying power that they have in radio and television.
